RocketLever positioning a precast panel beneath a building overhang

The installation constraint

When the hook line cannot reach the placement.

Overhangs and perimeter protection can block a conventional direct vertical lifting path. RocketLever establishes an offset between the crane hook and the panel, while VLN controls orientation.

  • Offset reachReach placement positions a conventional hook cannot access directly.
  • Remote angle controlCombine offset reach with active orientation control.
  • Repeatable presentationStored orientations support repeated installation sequences.

A coordinated system

Offset lifting meets active control.

Developed through collaboration involving Thorp Precast, Bomecon and Vita. ERNE Lifting supports Australian project assessment and deployment.

High-rise precast

Bring façade panels beneath perimeter screens and slab projections.

Restricted access

Review clearances, reach and installation geometry early in the methodology.

Repeated sequences

Combine the planned offset with repeatable panel orientations.

Plan the arrangement

Start with the panel and the offset.

The required reach, payload and counterweight arrangement determine the configuration. ERNE can help gather the information for a project review.
